Today is a day of many firsts.
Our first African American is president-elect; hopefully marking the start of a stark contrast from our previous presidential term. I'm sure Obama is covered in much greater depth everywhere else on the internet though, so I don't see much sense in jumping on that topic.
This is also the first post on the newly created Duncan/Brian house blog! We plan to cover all the hard-hitting issues that come up around 315 Conestoga. You lucky readers will get the chance to take in our views on culture, politics, sports, entertainment, and of course the world of high finance. Brian also has an excellent taste in movies, and will regularly be sharing his choice of films that have earned the "Brian Guarantee." We're fun people, we'll write fun things. Keep in mind, if you're not reading, you'll be missing out on all the inside jokes I'm am sure we'll reference in our day to day lives. You wouldn't want that.
Most importantly though, today is the first day of Egg Nog. Of all the Nogs, the Egg variety is by far the finest. We've moved away from a simple four-season system to one determined by the foods and drinks available during that time of the season. Sam Adam's seasonal beers are my usual determiner, but Egg Nog deserves a season of its own. So, welcome to Egg Nog season.
I'm off to have a delicious glass. Enjoy our blog.

Love it!! :) I'm totally linking you.
Why were you blogging at 2:30 in the afternoon? What happened to work, and if you WERE at work, how would you be getting egg nog?
Work has been upgraded to feature both free nog and out at 2:00 as a result of the awesome economy.
That and I moved to California.
Egg nog, while thick in nature, is one of the best drinks in moderation. Maybe a small glass before bed, sure hits the spot. Once December hits I will be buying a quart for myself.
Maybe I'll spike it with some rum for some added festivities!
Blog is bookmarked and I will link you in my blog too.
you boys are "Special"
There is a season for Blogs and a season for Nogs. Anyone with a decent "Nog"gin on their shoulders knows, why blogs can run year round, nogs are a limited time affair. Nogs are not to be used until the turkey has been consumed! So I encourage you to circle the Conestoga wagon, take the nog, chalk the river and float it!
I don't know, there is a fine line to walk between cider and nog territory. I usually let the supermarkets do the deciding for me as far as which is the right way to go.

Very interesting, both of you. I will now add your blog to my reading list. Are you working on getting a nice header image? That would make you more snazzy.
